Frank Pavone, Priests for Life     “The Empty Cradle Display”     Catholic Charities sponsored the Empty Cradle Display on the altar at the Cathedral of  St. Peter, Rockford, IL.  This display included three empty cradles signifying the devastating loss of over 50 million children killed by abortion since the Supreme Court decision Roe V. Wade.  Candles are held in empty baby food jars.  In the center of the display is a baby wrapped in angel’s wings.     Thus says the Lord: In Ramah is heard the sound of moaning, of bitter weeping!  Rachel mourns her children, she refuses to be consoled because her children are no more.                                                                      Jeremiah 31:15
